General Admission Guidelines
Admissions at Emeralds International School are open to students of all nationalities, provided they meet the school’s academic and behavioral expectations. Our admission process is designed to assess the readiness of the child while also ensuring that our learning environment suits their personal and academic growth.
We admit students from Playgroup to Grade 12.
Step-by-Step Admission Process
Inquiry & School Tour
Interested parents can submit an inquiry via our website https://eisdhaka.org or visit the school campus in Dhanmondi.
During the visit, parents may take a guided school tour and speak to our academic counselors to understand the curriculum, facilities, and Islamic values integrated into daily learning.
Application Form Submission
Application forms are available online or at the admissions office.
Completed application forms should be submitted with the following documents:
Birth certificate or passport copy of the student
Passport-size photographs
Previous academic records (if applicable)
Transfer certificate (for students transferring from another school)
Vaccination/medical records
Assessment Test
All applicants from KG-1 and above must sit for an academic assessment test in English, Math, and General Knowledge.
The assessment is age-appropriate and designed to evaluate the student’s current learning level.
Interview with Parents and Student
After the assessment, selected students and their parents are invited for an interview with the Academic Coordinator or Principal.
This session helps us understand the child’s personality, interests, and alignment with our school ethos.
